Description
I think this is a American Character Sweet Sue Walker doll. She is 14" and unmarked. She has a beautiful face, eyes open and close. The only thing I see wrong with her is
near the hairline, it looks like maybe glue, the hair covers this though so you can't really
even see it unless you push her hair back.
When you move her legs, her head turns. I Believe her shoes are leather with a white Faux Snap.
She comes with the shoes, the dress, the veil, the Pantaloons, and a wired crinoline skirt.
She is a very beautiful doll with a wonderful vintage bride dress. I believe she is from the 1950's but not sure exact date.
She is in vintage condition and sold as is. Please ask any questions to make sure you are happy as I am no expert, but
I did look her over and I don't see any defects, cracks, or stains. I would consider her to be in Mint Condition. Except the dress
is aged, still in good condition, just may need to be cleaned. I would be happy to include a stand. I also have a Glass case I would
sell, and combine shipping. If interested in the glass case please check my other listings.
See info from Doll Reference below.
She has sleep eyes that work correctly. Upper eye lashes and painted lower lashes.
She is a walker doll and when you move the legs the head turns.
She moves at the head, shoulders, hips and knees. She is hard plastic.
She comes with the doll, underwear, slip, dress and shoes. NO socks. The outfit is vintage and shows age and wear. The dress needs to be cleaned but it is too delicate for me to wash. Right shoulder seam is coming apart on the dress. No closure on hooped slip, I pinned it closed.
